Our practice offers Telemed service for our patients. This service safely gives you access to medical services.
How Our Telemed Option Works (Usual Business Hours Only)
- Call the Clinic’s main number to make an appointment.
- If you have access to a smart phone or computer with a webcam, we can Facetime with you. Call the Front Desk for easy setup. You will need to provide a cell number and an email address. If not, we can do a telephone visit and you will need to provide a phone number.
- Our phone numbers and office numbers are currently listed on the website, hours may vary by location.

Alexandra Fitzgerald PA-C
Alexandra (Alex) Fitzgerald is originally from New Jersey. She attended Duquesne Univeristy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2005 earning her Bachelors of Health Science and Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. After graduating from college, she moved to North Carolina in search of a warmer climate. Her first job out of college was in orthopedics, but for the past 7.5 years she has been working in Primary and Urgent Care practice. Her favorite part about working in primary care is the variety of conditions treated and the relationships formed through continuity of care. Alex is married with a 5 year old daughter. She enjoys shopping, playing tennis, and spending time with her family.

Elizabeth Laney - FNP
Elizabeth Laney is from Raleigh, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing with a minor in Psychology. After graduation, she worked for two and a half years at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC on the Medical/Telemetry unit. She then went back to school and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from East Carolina University. She now works in primary care at Med Mart where she enjoys working with her patients to help reach their goals. Outside of healthcare, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog, and exploring downtown Raleigh.

Wyatt W. Thompson PA-C
Wyatt “Pete” Thompson hails from Fredericksburg, Virginia, but has called Raleigh his home for the past 11 years. Pete as everyone calls him, graduated from North Carolina State University in 1994 with a degree in Environmental Science. After marrying his wife Laurie, the two joined the Peace Corps. He and his wife volunteered for 2 years in an Indian Village in Suriname, South Africa. After returning to the states, Pete went on to earn a Masters Degree in Crop and Soil Science from Virginia Technical College which landed him a job in the Crop Science Department at NCSU. Reflecting on the Peace Corps experience, coupled with his lifelong interest in the medical field, he decided to pursue a career in Health Science. He received his degree in Physician Assistant because he enjoys helping others, especially when they need it most. Pete has been employed with Med Mart Urgent & Primary Care (Raleigh location) for over 2 years. He and his wife Laurie still reside in Raleigh with their 2 children Folden and Wheeler.
